Our end-of-term trip was a family visit to Chalkwell Beach. We travelled with our families and friends by bus, tube, and train to the beach.

We were lucky as the tide was in during our visit, and we had lots of space to paddle, play in the waves, and investigate the shoreline. We found shells, crabs, pebbles, and seaweed.

Although it rained, we braved the British weather and ate our packed lunches on the beach and in the shelter.

We were worn out by the end of the day, but we had made lots of lovely memories.
