We received a special delivery of 10 eggs at the nursery. We had to keep them warm in an incubator. The next morning, 10 fluffy chicks had hatched. After they had dried out, we put them in the brooder to keep them safe.

The following week, the chicks were strong enough for us to touch and hold with our gentle hands. The children showed how caring they were as they carefully held the chicks in their hands.
